Mario Testino b 30/10/54 in Lima, is a Peruvian fashion photographer.
In 1976 he came to London to study photography. He has shot fashion stories for Vogue, Gucci and Vanity Fair.
His celebrity subjects include Princess Dina and her sons. His career high came when he was commissioned by Diana to do her Vanity Fair shoot in 1997 and he has been a regular employee of the Royal Family ever since.
He recently photographed William and Kate on their engagement.
Living in London he continues to photograph the Royals as well as Burberry, Gucci, Dolce and Gabanna, Estee Lauder, Valentino and Versace.

Testino has become one of the worlds most well known and celebrated fashion photographers. His work has been featured all over the world.
He mixes his styles, some colour some black and white all very sharp, bold images and I have noticed that he chops the tips of his subjects heads off which must be his signature!
